Hi! I'm Kim Danger. Purchasing back to school supplies can be a costly venture. But you don't have to spend tons of money on pre-decorated supplies. Instead I have some great ideas on some do-it-yourself projects that will keep money in your pocket and get your kids excited about going back to school. Purchase inexpensive notebooks or plain binders from a local store. You can use digital photos, magazines, ribbons, stickers, fabric, wrapping paper, and any other supplies to create your own designs at home. These items can be puchased from the local dollar store or look through discount bins at your local craft store. Before you run out to purchase all your kids supplies be sure to wait and get a copy of your kid's supply list from their school, this will help you save time and money. Most kids today are also pretty style conscious. so instead of buying all your clothes at once for the school year, wait and take advantage of the later sales when the bargains are better. Another quick tip: if you live in a state that participates in a tax free holiday be sure to find out the date and take advantage of all the savings.
